Reservation Times: All CO+LAB Equipment is automatically reserved for a full CO+LAB session (4 hours), regardless of duration of project. If the project will take longer than one session, please email co.lab@billingsmt.gov.
Certification: All patrons are required to complete two certification courses before using the equipment, CO+LAB 101 and a course specifically on the Glowforge Plus. You can complete these courses online before your reservation at billingspubliclibrary.moodlecloud.com.
Supplies: The library will provide supplies for initial equipment reservation and use. For subsequent reservations and/ or large projects, patrons will need to provide appropriate supplies that are compatible with the equipment.
Material Safety: To ensure everyone’s safety in the CO+LAB, it is essential to use only approved materials in the Glowforge. If you plan to bring your own materials, please provide a receipt to verify the type of material. Information about approved materials is available here.
