World Wide Spin in Public Day

Ever wanted to see how yarn is traditionally made? Our local spinning guild, the Prairie Handspinners, will be out in full force to demonstrate this amazing skill.  Want to try it yourself?  Our librarians can show you how to make a basic drop spindle and get you started spinning sheep wool into your own unique yarn!  If you're already a handspinner or fiber artist, we invite you to bring your supplies and share your craft with the world!
