Event Details
Billings Public Library is partnering with Brooklyn Public Library to offer a book club to celebrate that every teen deserves the freedom to read.
From January-May 2026, we will be reading a curated selection of young adult books. Register to borrow a free copy of the book, then return for a discussion on the last Saturday of the month. Join us for an engaging discussion, free food, and guest speaker, the Co-Founder & Director of Yellowstone County Mental Health Alliance: Onnie Michalsky, MA, LCPC, NCC. This program is open to youth ages 12-18.
This month's book is: The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
While reading the book is encouraged to participate in the discussion, it is not required. You only need to register if you need to borrow a copy of the book (limited to 10 copies). You may pick up a copy at the 2nd floor desk starting 1/2/26. If you do not pick up your copy by 1/9/26, your copy may be given to a registrant on the waitlist. Please return your borrowed copy during or within a week after the book discussion.
Attend all 5 discussion groups to win a Books Unbanned Swag Bag!
