Welcome to the It's Complicated series, a film society about social issues.  The theme this month is violence against women - specifically indigenous women.  May is MMIW awareness month.  Our film is Wind River.  This film is rated R and may not be for everyone.

From the case: WIND RIVER is a chilling thriller that follows a rookie FBI agent (Elizabeth Olsen) who teams up with a game tracker with deep community ties and a haunted past (Jeremy Renner) to investigate the mysterious killing of a local girl on a remote Native American reservation.

This society is perfect for cinema lovers who enjoy lively discussions on a variety of topics.  The goal is not to change minds but to find and highlight the grey spaces in the middle. No discussion is required!
