Susan Lowe will be at the Billings Public Library on June 4th to discuss her book, JOSIE: A Story of Faith and Survival. This true story is told through a young girl’s eyes and sheds light on this often-forgotten time in history. Post WWII, countless people hated Germans. Because of this culture, the war did not end for innocent ethnic German citizens living in Yugoslavia under Marshal Tito’s reign of terror.
About the Author: Susan A Lowe, Josie’s daughter, a first generation American, is a retired marriage and family therapist with an MS in counseling. She has over twenty-nine years’ experience working with clients from multiple backgrounds, many of whom have been victims of trauma. She previously maintained a private practice, served as the behavioral health compliance officer for Fresno County, and taught psychology related courses at CSU-Fresno, Reedley Community College, and Madera Community College in California. Lowe currently lives in Idaho with her husband and loves spending time as both a writer and speaker.
