Ever wander into a coffee shop or random downtown Billings location and see a group of individuals, engrossed with open sketchbooks, and wonder what the heck they're up to?  You've probably spotted the Billings Urban Sketchers hard at their craft of capturing the sights of Billings in ink and color.  Join us Tuesday, June 20th, at 5:30pm to meet this creative group of artists.  They will share techniques on how to gain a new perspective on the world around, create a more meaningful visual diary of experiences, improve drawing skills, be fully present in the moment, and practice a path to mindfulness.  Urban sketching is also a great way to connect with your community!

Anyone can get started in Urban Sketching - all that is needed is pencil and paper and the door to a creative life will open.  Sketchbooks will be available for viewing and the library will be raffling off a limited number of sketchpads at the end of the presentation.
