Event Details

Our goal: to connect our community of artists, crafters, and makers with unused supplies.

Do you have stashes of art and craft supplies from past interests that go unused? Here’s your opportunity to try something new and trade materials with a community who will use them!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We will accept almost any art or craft supply. Donated items should be in good, usable condition. Drop them off and then go "shopping" from what others have brought. We will sort and arrange all the materials into a second-hand craft supply extravaganza.
  • Open to all.
  • All items are free.
  • You do not have to bring supplies to participate in the Swap, however, swappers do get to shop first.
  • Please join us in the spirit of this event: to get materials into the hands of people who will use them, saving money and waste - no stashing.
  • Items not taken by swappers will be saved for another swap, donated or recycled! Books will be donated to the Friends of the Library.
How it Works
Drop-off Dates:  Tuesday-Friday, October 14-17, 2025.
Drop off your new or gently used supplies to the Billings Public Library First Floor Help Desk during the week of the swap and pick up your Swapper Pass.
The Swapper Pass will let you into the Swap starting at 10 am.
Swap Day: Saturday, October 18, 2025, 11 am to 2 pm, Community Room
From 11 am to 2 pm, the Swap will open to the general public.
The Swap will close at 2 pm and any remaining items will be saved for another swap, donated, or recycled.  Any books remaining will be donated to the Friends of the Library.
***If you are a non-profit organization and would like to donate or to collect any of the leftover items, please contact Mary Russell at the Billings Public Library at (406) 237-6271 or russellm@billingsmt.gov.
