Throughout the month of May, we invite you to stop by and experience Compelled to Create, an impressive art exhibition facilitated by the Montana Women's Prison, Marilu Metherell with the Yellowstone Art Museum, and John Kennedy with the Billings Arts Association.
Program participants attended a multi-day workshop led by Kennedy, learning the basics of portraiture and creating the displayed works.
Matting and framing materials generously provided by Rimrock Art & Frame.
Catch John at the Yellowstone Art Museum on Saturday, May 18, between 10AM-4PM, as a featured artist for the Billings Sketchbook Symposium.
John will also appear at the library for a free art demo/workshop on Saturday, June 29th, 1-4pm!
