The Billings Public Library will display an ofrenda in honor of our deceased loved ones October 19 – November 4 for a Day of the Dead celebration. Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos), is a tradition thousands of years old, practiced by indigenous peoples and still participated in today by much of Latin America. Community members of all ages are encouraged to share photos of their loved ones which will be added to the display.
To share your photos please email Vanessa at justicev@billingsmt.gov so we can print them out, or set up a time to have your photo scanned at the library.
Printed copies of photos will be available for pick up upon request only.
