DESCRIPTION:Join us Thursday mornings at 10 am in the Community Room (unle
 ss otherwise noted) for fun and interactive presentations from local commu
 nity partners. These programs are geared towards children 0-6 but all chil
 dren are welcome. No registration required.This hands-on program with the 
 Elevation Science Institute invites young learners to step into the shoes 
 of a paleontologist and discover the dinosaurs that once roamed the Bighor
 n Basin of Montana during the Jurassic Period. Students will get to see an
 d handle real fossils, learn about recent field discoveries, and try their
  hand at excavating fossils through a simulated dig activity. It’s a fun
 , engaging way to spark curiosity about Montana’s prehistoric past and t
 he science of paleontology!
