Event Details
Did you know that World Wide Knit in Public Day, first declared in 2005, is the largest knitting event in the world? It’s on June 14th this year and it's and the one day where knitters (and crocheters and other fiber artists) share their craft in public, stitching en masse in groups. We are so excited to partner with our LYS, Yarn Bar, to share with the world our love of the craft! We hope you join us for a morning cuppa at Marble Coffee Co., 8:30-10am; we'll have a secret code for extra points if you're participating in the Adult Summer Reading Program. Later in the morning, head to the Yarn Bar for some cozy craft shopping and receive a discount if you show your Billings Public Library card - also compete in Yarn Bar's speed knitting contest later that afternoon. It will be a day full of stitching joy!
