We're kicking off our Adult Summer Reading 2025 with some miniature painting! Interested in learning how to paint tabletop mini's for wargames or Dungeons & Dragons?  Want to hang out and paint with you fellow miniature painting enthusiasts? Join Riley Olsen at the Library for a fun, informal class for beginner to intermediate painters!

This is part 2 of a 2-class series, and will focus on basing your mini, followed by a quick demo to show you what you can do with your finished figures! Registration is required. To register, please go to Part 1 of our series on June 7th in the Library Calendar.

The first 8 registrants will receive miniatures to paint during the class.  Attendees can also bring their own miniatures from home and paint them up during the class, too! Paint, brushes, and other supplies will be provided.

Riley Olsen, a Historical Wargamer, has been an avid gamer since he was little, and has been a player and proponent of historical wargames in the last six years. He has played and hosted games across the country, and hopes to expand the hobby. Riley believes that beyond being a great time to spend with friends, gaming historical battles allows us insight into the decisions and lives of soldiers and commanders across history.
