In honor of our 2025 Adult Summer Reading theme, Color Our World, we are reading Scott McCloud's Understanding Comics, an innovative and entertaining work that offers both a history of graphic novels and insight into their unique visual language, which has been praised throughout the cartoon industry by such luminaries as Art Spiegelman, Matt Groening, and Will Eisner.
For this discussion, we will be using BPL's book club kit, so 10 copies will be available to check out at the 2nd floor help desk. Please register here, and then come in to the library to check out your copy.
