Join the Yellowstone Valley Astronomy Association and Lynn Powers, MSSE- for an in depth look at our moon!

Just over 55 years ago, Apollo 11 landed on the Moon capturing the imaginations of millions around the world.  Apollo astronauts brought back 842 pounds of lunar samples from rocks to dust. Space samples will be available at the library for you to explore! A presentation will follow as we'll briefly review the history of lunar exploration and peer into the future as NASA prepares to return to the Moon with the Artemis Mission.
