What is trauma? How do you identify it in yourself or others? How can we support one another? In this presentation, Utahna Payne will examine these subjects and share her personal experiences with trauma. Audience members will be given the opportunity to share and ask questions. Join us January 25, 5:30 – 7pm in the Community Room. Utahna Payne is the Founder of The Payne Project and is a Certified Life Coach for adults and teens, and specializes in Neuro linguistic programming. She has a passion for bringing healing to our community through education by showing people how, and offering the support to discuss and overcome, the things no one wants to talk about. The BPL’s Social Awareness Series is a set of presentations, discussions, and activities centered around exploring the social and cultural influences on the Billings community and aims to embrace differences, empower and inform patrons, and enrich our community by providing opportunity for thoughtful and engaging dialog.
