Spin Together with the Prairie Handspinners

February 22nd is the first day of the 2025 Spin Together competition, an annual competition where teams of handspinners compete against other teams to transform fiber into as much yarn as they can in a week! Stop by the Oculus from 12:00-4:00pm to see our local guild team, the Prairie Handspinners, kick off their week of speed spinning. This is a great time to see a traditional skill in action or ask about how to get started spinning if you've ever been interested. As an added treat, the CoLab's new Ashford electric spinning wheel will make it's debut at this event - don't miss it!
