Registration for a free picture frame has closed, but the event is still open to all! 

Just in time for Mother's Day, come make a wonderful pressed-flower art display with local artist, Linda Franson! Participants will need to provide their own 4"x6" picture frame for their arrangement, and are encouraged to bring a small pair of tweezers to handle the flowers.

Linda Franson has a large and rambling garden filled with a riot of perennials.  She is an inveterate gardener who has found a way to preserve the beauty of a summer garden in small decorative "paintings" using pressed flowers.  Her hobby is an old hobby; pioneer women, without much access to art or decor, often pressed hardy, native flowers and hung them on the walls, gracing and beautifying their humble homes.
