Program Description

Event Details

Welcome to the first in the It's Complicated series, a film society about social issues.  The theme this month is being unhoused.   Our film is The Public about unhoused people finding shelter in a Cincinnati Library.

This society is perfect for cinema lovers who enjoy lively discussions on a variety of topics.  The goal is not to change minds but to find and highlight the grey spaces in the middle.

We are a “watch first — talk later” club.  Movies will be screened on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm in the Community Room. The discussion group will meet on a Saturday to replay some pivotal scenes from the selected movie followed by a discussion and analysis of the film. The discussion group for this movie will be in the Community Room, Saturday, February 15, starting at 3:30 pm.
