From wild horses of the West to tango dancers of Argentina, take in a dynamic array of images captured by two outstanding photographers, who also work at your library! See the world through their lens in this vibrant exhibit, proudly displayed on our First-Five-Years wall throughout August!

Dan Baney developed an interest in photography at a young age, learning from his parents how to see the world through a camera lens. He has been influenced by the work of Jodi Cobb and William Albert Allard and their use of natural light and expressive color in their documentary photography.

Brittny Budde has always had a fascination with horses, a typical horse girl who even took riding lessons for a few years. After watching the documentary Cloud: Wild Stallion of the Rockies, though, she discovered a particular love for wild horses. Their untamed majesty and embodiment of freedom and joy was intoxicating to behold.

This exhibit was generously funded by the Billings Public Library Foundation.
