Author Talk: Tami Haaland

The Writer's Voice is pleased to present an author reading with poet Tami Haaland. She will read from her newest collection of poetry, If I Had Said Beauty recently published by Lost Horse Press. It is a book of "possible narratives and distant origins." Poet Connie Voisine says "In these poems, all the spirits are welcome members of her community, an atom, a spruce, a fly, and the ghosts of her ancestors who are suddenly near, and alive."  Haaland has worked at Montana State University for many years, primarily as a professor of Creative Writing and for several years as a Dean of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences.
